As many of you know my marathon did not go according to plan. But I had a great weekend in Boston before the race. I arrived Friday night. Saturday morning I was up and out early.
I was volunteering at the Expo at the t-shirt exchange. I always have enjoyed volunteering for races. I love talking to the runners and getting their take on the race. I ran into a few people I knew, a few old friends and some new ones from Seattle. I picked up my bib, shirt and a few things at the Expo.
My Dad, Emily, Danny and I went to Legal Seafood for a late lunch. I know it’s a chain but the have awesome clams.
On Easter Sunday, my brother Brett and his wife Lori hosted a great dinner. It was my first holiday with lots of family since moving to Seattle. The kids had an egg hunt and we had a ton of good food including apple pie and cannolis.
We even managed to get a partial family picture.
