Great barbeque and a new car

On Saturday the PNW was in the middle of a typhoon and we decided to go car shopping. I usually get a car that is a year or 2 old. We did some looking online and then headed out to the dealerships. I was planning on another Audi, because I did love them. After driving one and talking to the sales person we could not agree on a price.

We were getting hungry and used Yelp to find a great barbeque place in Fife, WA the Warthog Barbeque Pit. It was a small place with picnic tables. We ordered at the counter and they bring your food to you when it is ready. I had the pulled pork sandwich with homemade fries and it was fantastic. Some of the best bbq I have had in a long time.

After lunch we headed over to Northwest Mini. I have always loved Mini’s but they were too small. We looked at the Countryman. I loved it! It is sporty and fun. We had a great sales rep, Steve. He walked all over the lot with us and took us on the roof wading through six-inch puddles to made sure we could see all of our options. We picked one out and quickly came to an agreement. Soon we were on our way with our new car and a swag bag full of goodies.

Running has gone well 8 miles on Saturday and 12 on Sunday. Portland Marathon on Sunday! Amy, Adrienne and I are heading to Portland on Saturday, it should be a great girls weekend.

Sounds like a fantastic day had by all…..Great food, topped off with a brand spanking new car. It doesn’t get any better than that. I love the look of the car, and the food of course. Good luck at the Portland marathon. I’ll be thinking of you.
